Terms of service
Short and plain: what you can expect from FinKit and what we expect from you.
The service
FinKit provides free finance tools that run in your browser. We may change, add or remove tools at any time.
Not advice
FinKit gives no tax, legal, accounting or financial advice. The calculators are arithmetic and the invoice generator is a document editor. Whether a result fits your situation, and what your country requires on an invoice, is for you and your adviser to decide.
Your content
Invoice drafts, client details and figures stay on your device; we never receive them. You are responsible for what you put in a document you send out, and for meeting the invoicing, tax and record-keeping rules that apply to you.
No warranty
The tools are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind. Check every figure before you rely on it: rounding, rate choices and your own inputs all affect the result.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, FinKit is not liable for any damage arising from the use of the site, including decisions taken on the basis of a calculation or a document made here.
Acceptable use
Do not use FinKit for fraudulent invoices or for anything illegal where you live. Do not attempt to disrupt the site or its advertising.
Advertising & third parties
The site shows ads served by Google AdSense, which operate under Google's own terms and privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is always the one published on this page.
