How it works
Every tool on this site runs entirely inside your browser. Your client details, prices and figures are never uploaded: the invoice draft is kept in your own browser storage, the PDF is produced by your browser's print dialog, and the calculators are plain arithmetic running on your device. That is also why the tools can stay completely free.
The everyday calculators use only the rate you type. The country tools (VAT rates, income tax and salary) carry a dated rule table for six countries: the tax year, the date it was last checked and a link to the official source are printed with every result. FinKit gives no tax, legal or financial advice.
Frequently asked questions
Are these tools really free?
Yes. Every tool on FinKit is completely free with no sign-up, no watermark on the invoice and no limits. The site is supported by ads.
Is my invoice data uploaded anywhere?
No. The invoice you write stays in this browser: the draft is kept in your browser's local storage, the PDF is made by your browser's own print dialog, and you can save the draft as a JSON file on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
Does FinKit know my country's tax rates?
For the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain and the Netherlands, yes: the VAT calculator, the income tax calculator and the salary calculator carry a dated, sourced rule table, and every result prints the tax year, the date the table was last checked and a link to the official source. Everywhere else, and in the everyday calculators, the rate is still the one you type.
Is this tax or financial advice?
No. The calculators are arithmetic and the invoice generator is a document editor. Both are there to save you time, not to replace an accountant or a tax adviser.
Which currencies are supported?
Forty-four, from EUR and USD to INR, BRL and ZAR, formatted the way your language writes them. The currency you pick is remembered for the next visit.
